Menu: Analyze / Compute normals
After clicking on “Compute normals”, the algorithm will automatically begin to calculate the normal of every point in the point cloud. Afterward, when viewing points by normals (Menu: View / Color by normals), points belonging to horizontal planes will appear in green and points on a vertical plane will appear in blue. All other points will appear in white. This can help you view better the intersection of plane allowing you to see better the edges while doing virtual surveying for exemple.
