For virtual surveying to be operational in VisionLidar

In order to be able to score points in a VisionLidar project, it is necessary to connect the project to a Vision database

to the project. The database can be created or an existing database can be selected. The “...” button will browse for a database file on the computer or allows the user to create a new database. Two database formats are available; Microsoft Access (.MDB) format or SQLite format (.sqlite). To create the database, click on “Create” and a configuration should appear in the drop down menu. The configuration selected will determine the PCode list available in the database. The base configuration that comes with VisionLidar is Vision+, but it can be changed by modifying the database model linked in the settings. Once a project has been created and points have been added to the database with a specific configuration it is not recommended to change the configuration. The database used by VisionLidar possesses the same structure as databases used with other Geo-Plus software, such as VisionCivil Pro, Lt, VisionPlus and VisionCogo.

beforehand. You can create a new Vision database or select an existing Vision database.

By default. the "database" is created in the same directory as the project itself. You can change the location by clicking Image Added. Then click on Create

With the default installation of VisionLidar, only the "Vision +" configuration is available. However, the configuration can be changed using the VisionPlus tools to add more configurations. If you want to work on a different database, you must first "Detach" the database linked to the project before selecting another one (or creating a new one)
