Chain Manager

Improved model database update process

• Following a software upgrade (e.g. from V33 to V34), updating the model database is no longer mandatory. If the model database is shared, this will not prevent other users from using it. At the same time, the entire IT infrastructure no longer needs to be updated at the same time.

Database parameters

• It is now possible to identify the vertical datum (DATUM) used in the database. This can then be added to the project info.

LandXML import/export

• Notes associated with points from Leica LandXML files can now be imported. Once imported, they are available in the note manager and can be mapped.

• The function has been revised to give the user a choice of linear elements to import.

• A validation function has been added to check that the coordinate system contained in the LandXML file matches the one of the database.

• A validation function has been added to check that the PCodes of imported points match those of the configuration used.

• The coordinate transformation function has been added to the LandXML file import and export forms, making it as easy as possible to modify the coordinate system of the data.

• The "coordinate comparison" function has been added to the processing of imported data by the LandXML file import tool.

Point group

• A new function has been added to the point group function, enabling you to filter the list of point groups to which a point belongs. The aim is to find out which groups a point is included in.

• It's now easier to navigate long point group lists by typing the first few characters, as the focus of the drop-down list will be on names starting with the letters typed.

Field notebook

• A new option lets you draw the result of a polygonal path calculation in CAD.

Graphic point list

• A new function lets you select information from a graphic point list, even if the latter has been exploded, in order to populate a new list.

Area calculation

• A new function allows you to calculate the area of a surface by: a series of points contained in the database, or elements drawn on the plan. The function also allows you to enter the result on the map.

GeoJson export

• It is now possible to export circle and polygon objects.

Parcel manager

• A new function lets you choose the type of measurements to be displayed in the plan when drawing a plot. In the drawing parameters, it is now possible to select whether to plan imposed or calculated measurements, or both.

• A new function has been added to reverse the order of points defining a plot.

Survey file (MTQD)

• Changes have been made to better manage non-access easements.

ASCII import

• It is now possible to import the rotation to be applied to a symbol when using numeric PCodes. The RO code followed by the rotation angle must be entered (e.g. 21.2.15 RO45.23655;my note).

LandXML import

• The calculation of the combined scale factor has been improved to take into account the Geoid undulation . The report shows us the intermediate results of the average scale factor (SF) and the average height factor (H+N) before the presentation of the combined scale factor (CF)

Field Data calculation

• New validations have been added when recording coordinates from the field data calculation:

• The import of Leica-XML files now handle stations measured in bearing.

Parcels Manager

• It is now possible to document a parcel. Thus a new field "Description" is available in the "Parcel Characteristics" of the parcel allowing to write notes, decisions, status or other.

Chains Manager

• The English control codes DIST, RECT, PC and PT are now supported by VisionPlus.

Research report

• In the "Deeds" section of the main interface, it is now possible to see if a file is associated with the title as well as consult it.

• It is now possible to create a "parent" deeds to several existing property titles. The deeds tree of the selected deed will be automatically updated.

Building manager
