Annex B: Assign access rights to a directory

The installation program assigns all access rights to the installation directory. However, if you change the user, it is necessary to make sure that the installation directory has all the access rights for this new user.

• Installation directory (ex.: C:\Program Files\VisionPlus or C:\Program Files\VisionCivil)

Procedure:

• Select the directory in which you want to modify the rights ;
• Right-click on the mouse button and select « Properties » ;
• Select the « Security » tab ;
• Click on the « Edit » button.

• Under the « Group or user names » table, select the user/account name.
• Under the section « Permissions for users » check the « Total Control » box in the « Allow » column.

• Click the « Apply » followed by the « OK » button.

Follow this procedure for other directories.
