The Eraser tool allows you to temporarily hide points within the point cloud for better visualization and analysis. The eraser moves along the plane dictated by the current view, making it easy to target specific areas.

How to Use the Eraser Tool

  1. Activate the Eraser by clicking on the “Pick Position” button.

  2. Move the eraser by dragging it with your mouse.

  3. Choose a shape:

    • Cubic – Creates a box-shaped eraser for rectangular selections.

    • Spherical – Uses a sphere-shaped eraser for rounded selections.

  4. Adjust the Size:

    • Defines the radius for Spherical mode.

    • Defines the edge length for Cubic mode.

  5. Set the Opacity to control the effect's intensity.

Keyboard Shortcuts

  • Press "D" → Erase selected points.

  • Press "R" → Restore erased points.
