Update of existing functions
Overview
In several functions, such as "ASCII Import", "Import chains", "Import parcel" and "Translation / Rotation," it is possible to enter a negative offset constantly. Ref.: Civ-2699
In many functions, such as «Least square Translation / rotation», the results of all validations are displayed in the same window. Ref.: Civ-2291
In several functions, such as «ASCII Import» and «Field data calculation», new option allows you to draw new points and strings. Ref.: Civ-2435
There are new icons in the interfaces of the Civil module. Ref.: Civ-2806
There are new icons in the Vision module taskbar for AutoCAD users. Ref.: Civ-2801
Several user interfaces have been modified to make them compatible with the 4K screen resolution. Ref.: Civ-2665, CIV-2628
Validation
When validating a Vision database and one or more points do not have a PCode, the user can select the PCode of their choice. Ref.: Civ-2753
Locate an Undrawn Point
The function «Locate point» allows to locate a point, even if it is not drawn. Ref.: Civ-548
Chains
The drawing of a string is done even if the string definition is not associated with a line-style configuration. It draws itself continuously. Ref.: Civ-2683
A validation has been added to the chain processes of various functions to avoid creating duplicate strings. Ref.: Civ-2343
The notes included in the field code of the PCode are now imported when notes contain identical characters of the PCode. Ref.: Civ-3017
The string is no more deleted from the database when it’s deleted from its group. Ref.: Civ-2958
Drawing Parameters
The reading and writing speed of the drawing parameter file has been improved. Ref.: Civ-2732
Export to a MNT
A new point selection control has been integrated to allow graphic selection by zone. Ref.: Civ-2561
Drawing of Points
The "Create by picking" and "Create on elements" functions offer new options for choosing to create new points or to choose existing points. These functions always draw newly created or existing points. Ref.: Civ-2540
Translation / rotation by base point and Least Square Translation / rotation
Point-shift methods by Direction - Distance and Delta Y - Delta X have been added. Ref.: Civ-2232
A new user interface has been added to ask the user if he wants to change the coordinates of the fixed points. Ref.: Civ-2303
The backup of transformation parameters allows you to make predefined moves. It also allows you to cancel a transformation by reversing the parameters of the last move. Ref: Civ-2231, Civ-2230
A validation principle is added in the translation-rotation interfaces. So, the user can validate the results of a report before saving the transformation. Ref.: Civ-2455, Civ-2851
Text notes of existing points are now copied during registration of new points. Ref.: Civ-3053, Civ-3027
Rotation of Texts
The text rotation algorithm has been optimized. Points with an alphanumeric part are considered. Ref.: Civ-2746
Copy of Points
The "Copy Points" feature is now available from the drawing platform's menus. Ref.: Civ-2550
Measures
The justification of the measurement annotations is now customizable from the following choices: "Left, "Midle Center" for Autocad drawing platform and "Left Bottom", "Center Center", for Microstation. Ref.: Civ-2805
Importing Raw Files
When importing a GDT, values containing a 60 'or a 60 "are treated in DD.MMSS as for the rest of the file. Ref.: Civ-656
The import raw file function imports points with an alphanumeric offset constant. For example, the points '1 - 100' become 'G1 - G100'. Ref.: Civ-2625
The import of Leica-XML format observations has been improved to retrieve the necessary information in the Hexagon tag to process curves in strings, assign control codes PL, NZ, FF and retrieve text notes. Ref: Civ-2894, Civ-2912, Civ-2924, Civ-2932
Navigation with the ‘’TAB’’ key is carried out in this interface. Ref.: Civ-2953
In a GDT file, when a label sequence is followed by a sequence of coordinates, observation and coordinates are imported correctly. Ref.: CIV-2895
The default PCode is used when PCode is missing in the raw TDS type file. Ref.: CIV-3059
Field Data Calculation
A validation has been added in the calculations of the Field data calculation function to avoid creating duplicate strings. Ref.: Civ-2802
A new interface is available directly in the Field data calculation interface. There are various options, such as angle, distance, and elevation tolerance values. Ref.: Civ-2748
A fix has been made in the report of the treated points. Instead of displaying the elevation of this point from the angles (AH, AV) and measured distance, VisionCogo reported the elevation (Z) of the operating station, which displayed an elevation error on the checkpoint. Ref.: Civ-2864
A fix was made during the observation modification. The modification of the prism height directly on the grid has been optimized. Ref.: Civ-2907
The reduction of multiple backsights is now calculated. Ref.: Civ-3004
When cancelling the deletion of a station, it is no longer deleted. Ref.: Civ-2948
ASCII Import
The ASCII file import algorithm has been improved. The strings are imported even when the coding of the PCodes is alphanumeric and the field separator are "Tabs". Ref.: Civ-2252
When there are field separators at the beginning of the line, they are ignored. So, there is no extra column (offset). Ref.: Civ-2633
A correction has been made in the processing of strings containing numeric coding with the chain closes instruction. The subsequent chain had bad points. Ref.: Civ-2957
ASCII Import / Export
The point group algorithm has been improved. When the interface is open to the "ASCII Export" interface and a point group is selected, it initializes correctly. Ref.: Civ-2556
Geometry Menu
The menu of traverse-angle function has been renamed: Geometry / Traverse Angle / Angle = Geometry / Traverse Angle / Report. Ref.: Civ-2778
Merge Points
The point merge algorithm has been improved. The particular case of import with offset constant by specifying a sector by coordinates has been solved. Ref.: Civ-2733
