Menu: Tools / SFM / GCP Editor

In this menu you will add GCPs to your photo to georeference your project so your point cloud is at the exact coordinates as reality. Note that you only need to perform the GCPs edition only if your photos do not have any coordinates already. If your photos have GPS coordinates already, skip this step since you never georeference a gereferenced image (it will only create distorsion within the point cloud orientation)

To edit the GCPs, you need first to open the .bin file created in the previous step "3D Reconstruction" which will give you access of all the images used for your project in "ImagesList". Simply double-click the name of an image to display it on screen.

At this point all you have to do is to edit your GCPs by clicking them on the images directly and giving them a number. Note that for each GCP you need to click on at least two differents images. Which you can control by looking at the "#obs" in the table below (Must be at least 2).

Then you will have to enter the coordiante for each GCP you picked by going in "File / Control Point Edition", which will open the window below. You will have to enter the coordinates in all  X/Y/Z cells for each GCP.

Once the coordiantes are entered you will go to "File / Control Point Registration", the module will give you a report (error log) that let you control the precision of your GCP picking in your photos. If the results are satisfying you can then save the project as a .bin (see 3D reconstruction) or repick your GCPs and repeat this step.

Keep in mind to save your project under a different name, and not overwrite the file cearted in the "3D reconstruction" step. So in case you you made a mistake during the GCPs edition, you still have access to the data instead of having to redo the "3D reconstruction".
