Converting files prior to MicroStation version 10.17.00.209

A compatibility problem has arisen since MicroStation Connect update V10.17.00.209. The problem affects all elements that have been drawn with a VisionPlus function on the drawing platform. Since this update, we've asked you not to update your MicroStation version.

To resolve this situation, a migration of each of your DGN files will have to be carried out in order to be able to use your files with versions subsequent to the problematic version of MicroStation Connect.

Here's how to update your DGN files:

2- Start the "Repair drawing attributes" function

3- Select a search directory by pressing the "..." button.

4- Check the "Search in sub directories" box if desired

5- The function will search for DGNs in the directory and sub directories and present them in the list.

6- Select the files to be converted by ticking the box to the left of the file name. Or use the "Check/Uncheck all" buttons.

7- Press the "Execute" button to start conversion

The function will open and convert each file. This process can take a long time, depending on the number of files selected and/or errors to be corrected.

Once the job has been completed, a report will be displayed showing how well the job went, and the number of items corrected in each file.
