Preparation Before Installation

You must have administrator privileges in order to install the software correctly. It is recommended to close all running programs and restart your computer before installing to ensure that all running programs are closed.


Updating from an older version

You must uninstall the previous versions before installing the new one. In Windows settings, go to “Add or remove programs” and remove the older versions of VisionLidar. Please apply the same procedure to VisionPlus, if you have the module.

The 2024 VisionLidar version allows you to continue your work with the 2021 (*.vps) format since it will continue to be compatible with the projects under the previous version.  If however you wish to use the new format compatible with the VisionLidar365 secured point cloud platform, please use the “Conversion of old projects” tool under the “Tools” menu.

 When creating new projects, you may continue to use the previous format or convert your new projects to the format compatible with the VisionLidar365 web platform.
