Annex B: Assign access rights to a directory

The installation program assigns all access rights to the user’s installation folder. However, if you change the user on a computer, it is important to grant the access rights to the installation folder for this user as well.

Installation folder (ex: C:\Program Files\VisionLidar)

Procedure:

Select the directory in which you wish to modify the rights ;
Right-click on the mouse button and select « Properties » ;
Select the « Security » tab ;
Click on the « Edit » button.

Under the « Group or user names » table, select the Users (« account name »\Users).
Under the section « Permissions for Users » check the « Full control » box in the « Allow » column..

• Click the « Apply » followed by the « OK » button.
