The contour preferences are set in the layer's preferences. For this reason, each layer may have its own preferences for the contours.

The first section relates to the default values entered when the interface is opened. The second section indicates the types of lines and texts used in the drawing. The buttons are used to edit the selected configuration. If you don't want to draw one of the contour elements, simply uncheck it.

Annotation interval

Default value of the interval for annotations on a given contour.

Step Differential

When calculating differential contours, the interval between the curves.

Minimum length of contour

The minimum length that a contour must have to be drawn.

Divide curves by annotation

An option to divide or not divide the curves during annotation.

Primary

Used to choose the type of line for primary contours.

Secondary

Used to choose the type of line for secondary contours.

Differential pos.

Used to choose the type of line for positive contours when creating differential contours.

Zero

Used to choose the type of line for null contours when creating differential contours.

Differential neg.

Used to choose the type of line for negative contours when creating differential contours.

TextsPrimaryList of text types available for primary contour annotations.
SecondaryList of text types available for secondary contour annotations.
Differential pos.Used to choose the type of text for positive contours when creating differential contours.
ZeroUsed to choose the type of text for null contours when creating differential contours.
Differential neg.Used to choose the type of text for negative contours when creating differential contours.
DecimalsAllControls the number of decimal places that will be shown by the corresponding curve's annotation.
