Menu: Explorer / Scans
This The Scans tab shows displays the different individual scans within from the source files present in the project. Each different imported file generates at least one independent scan that , which can be shown or hidden by checking or unchecking the box next to the left of the file name. It is also possible to change its name.
Customization Options
Users can modify the color of
each scan, which
is useful when viewing the point cloud in “Color by Scan” mode.
There is a toolbar at the top of the scans tab. The functions are:
Updates the number of points per scan. This button will populate the column "Pts."
Each scan may be moved individually by using the "translation/rotation" tool.
Click on the 
icon to open the translation/rotation interface for individual files. Add values for translation/rotation if needed and apply. It's possible to determine the translation values manually; click on "Pick 2 points" and then click 2 points on the screen. If no pivot point is specified, the rotation will be made on the origin of the scan and the angles will be in degrees.
Warning: The "translation/rotation" cannot be undone by the software, you would need to make the opposite transformation to undo any displacements.
Scan Grouping
To organize scans into groups for better management:
Enable this feature by checking the “By Group” checkbox.
Click the
button to create and name a new scan group.
Point Count Update
The “Pts.” column shows the number of points in each scan. To refresh this data, click the button.
