Once the lines are

created, create the alignment by clicking on the “Create alignment” button and saving with the “Saving chains as alignments” window.

extracted, simply click on "Create chains" which will open the "Enter points/chains" window then follow the procedure as describe in "Creating an alignment by picking points in the point cloud"
