Menu: Edit / Fence
Instead of creating an extraction, it's possible to isolate points while staying in the main point cloud by using a fence. When no fences exist yet in the project, the fence tool will automatically start in picking mode, else the button "Pick" must be selected to generate a new fence. When In VisionLidar, you can create multiple fences to isolate the working area. This will allow you to reduce the processing time by focusing on the area of interest. To start creating a new fence click on 
, you can also give it a name. When picking a fence, a closed polygon is created in the same way as with the "Selection tool" begin . Begin the fence by clicking the left mouse button around the desired area. Clicking on the right mouse button will close the polygon.

Once you are done with creating your fence, you have to validate it by clicking 
or you can click 
if the fence is wrong.
Once a fence is created you can choose amongst
- Hide out: Hides all points outside of the fence
- Hide in: Hides all points inside the fence
: Will delete the current selected fence
: To rename the current selected fence- Select points: Select the currently visible points and show the Selection dialog.
- Export for train: Export the currently visible points to a PLY files that can later be used to train a model.
- Create surface: Create a surface from the currently visible point.
