Fence
Menu: Edit / Fence
In VisionLidar, you can create multiple fences to isolate the working area. This will allow you to reduce the processing time by focusing on the area of interest. To start creating a new fence click on 
, you can also give it a name. When picking a fence, a closed polygon is created in the same way as with the "Selection tool". Begin the fence by clicking the left mouse button around the desired area. Clicking on the right mouse button will close the polygon. Once you are done with creating your fence, you have to validate it by clicking 
or you can click 
if the fence is wrong.
Once a fence is created you can choose amongst
- Hide out: Hides all points outside of the fence
- Hide in: Hides all points inside the fence
: Will delete the current selected fence
: To rename the current selected fence
The fence is a 2D shape that is not part of the point cloud. Filtered points are therefore any points inside/outside the fence when the fence was applied. If the user navigates in the point cloud, the fence will stay the same on screen (if it was drawn).
Note that the fence can not be activated with the bounding box simultaneously, generating a fence will deactivate the bounding box and vice-versa.
