Menu: Edit / Classifier

The Classifier tool allows you to manually assign selected points to a specific classification within the point cloud. It provides precise control over point classification by using a movable selection tool that follows the plane dictated by the current view.

How to Use the Classifier Tool

1. Activate the Classifier by clicking “Pick Position”.

2. Move the classifier by dragging it with your mouse.

3. Choose a shape:

   • Cubic – Creates a box-shaped classifier for rectangular selections.

   • Spherical – Uses a sphere-shaped classifier for rounded selections.

4. Adjust the Size:

   • Defines the radius for Spherical mode.

   • Defines the edge length for Cubic mode.

5. Set the Opacity to control the effect's intensity.

6. Select the desired classification from the drop-down list.

7. Press “C” to classify the selected points.
