The expanded sections provides a means to upload new images as well as a selection box to search and select images by name.
Upload
Click on the Upload button to open the file selection dialog. Select one or more files to upload and click Open.
The selected files will be uploaded to your enterprise server’s file system and submitted for automated detection of license plates and people faces.
- Once an image is uploaded, it will automatically be queued up by the VisionLidar 365 Blur Services on your server for detection of plates and faces.
- The uploaded images will show in the Images section paginator once they are processed.
- The uploaded images will show in the Images section’s selector whether they are processed or not. However the unprocessed images will be shown in parenthesis until they have been processed.
Selector
Use the image selector if you need to see the current image name or if you want to select an image by name. The selector acts as a search as you type.
Unlike with the paginator in the Images section, the selector will display images that have not yet been automatically processed, as well as images that have been automatically processed. Unprocessed images are displayed in parenthesis.

Automated Processing
The VisionLidar Blur Module includes the VisionLidar Blur Services, running on your server, for automated detection of license plates and people faces, as well as for automated stamping of the results into a copy of the original image.
Automated Detection
Automated detection of plates and faces is performed once you upload an image, as described in the Images section above.
Automated Rendering of a Copy
The interactive editor always work on the original image, only displaying the pixelated, blurred and masked zone in real time, on top of the original image. This ensures that you can always go back to create new zones or edit existing ones.
In addition, the process of creating a rendered copy of the original image is fully automated.
- The VisionLidar Blur Services constantly keep an up-to-date copy of the image that is rendered with the pixelated, blurred and masked zones.
- VisionLidar 365 displays the rendered copy in the Web, AutoCAD Map, and ArcGIS clients
