Point cloud registration

Point cloud registration is necessary when a point cloud must be correctly positioned in space.  Many options for point cloud registration are available with VisionLidar and are explained in this section.

Different methods are available:

• Point to point registration
• Registration using a list
• Translation/rotation of the project
• Reindexing the point cloud
