Layer management
The Layers tool manages the visualization and appearance of data sources.
The type of data source selected will determine the available properties and actions of the layers.
Vector data has an associated line type and color, while raster data has a transparency value.
The minimum and maximum scale allow you to adjust when the data is visible, so as not to make the map unreadable on a small scale and not display unnecessary data on a large scale.
