Map management

A map is an interactive representation of geographic information that supports the consultation of point clouds and spherical images. These maps usually contain an OpenStreetMap or Bing base map and a set of data layers. To create a new map, just make sure that the data sources are connected and that the layers you want to represent are created.

The map is defined by an information layer list. You must select the desired information layers. VisionLidar365 does not stack the layers in the order of their opening, it tries to manage their display according to their type of geometry. At the bottom of the stack are the raster layers, then the polygon-type object layers, then the polyline-type object layers, and finally the point-type and text object layers. Nevertheless, it is possible to change this initial order by means of the buttons "Up" and "Down"

Data layers can be assigned to more than one map.
