Scans

Menu: Explorer / Scans

The Scans tab displays the individual scans from the source files in the project. Each imported file generates at least one scan, which can be shown or hidden by checking or unchecking the box next to its name.

Customization Options

• Users can modify the color of each scan, which is useful when viewing the point cloud in “Color by Scan” mode.

Scan Grouping

To organize scans into groups for better management:

1. Enable this feature by checking the “By Group” checkbox.

2. Click the button to create and name a new scan group.

Point Count Update

The “Pts.” column shows the number of points in each scan. To refresh this data, click the button.
