The IFC to OBJ tool allows users to convert IFC files (Industry Foundation Classes format) to OBJ files (a widely used 3D model format). This tool enables interoperability between BIM (Building Information Modeling) software and 3D visualization tools.
Main Interface Overview
✔ IFC File Name – Select the IFC file you wish to convert.
✔ OBJ File Name – Specify the output filename for the converted OBJ file.
✔ OK – Starts the conversion process.
✔ Quit – Exits the tool without converting.
How to Convert an IFC File to OBJ
Click the “…” button next to IFC File Name to browse and select an IFC file.
Click the “…” button next to OBJ File Name to choose where to save the new OBJ file.
Press “OK” to start the conversion.
Monitor the progress and wait for the process to complete.
