Menu: Tools / Convert old projects
The Convert Old Projects tool enables users to batch convert older .VLP project files (created in VisionLidar 2019 or earlier) to the new .VLP format introduced in VisionLidar 2020 and later.
Main Interface Overview
✔ VL Project File – Select a single .VLP file for conversion.
✔ All in Folder – Check this option to convert all old .VLP projects within a selected folder.
✔ Destination Folder – Choose where the converted projects will be saved.
✔ Start Conversion – Begins the batch conversion process.
✔ Progress Bar – Displays the current status of the conversion.
✔ Quit – Exits the tool without performing any action.
How to Convert Old Projects
Select a single .VLP project file or check "All in Folder" to convert multiple projects at once.
Choose the Destination Folder for the new .VLP files.
Click "Start Conversion" to begin the process.
Monitor the progress bar to track the conversion status.
