Classifying Clusters by Type

Menu: Analyze / Cluster

Once clusters have been filtered correctly, they can be selected and classified into a specific class.

For example, if the "Cars" cluster category is selected and all detected clusters appear to be vehicles, the user can classify all points contained in these clusters into a specific class, such as Class 14 (Cars).

1. Steps to Classify Clusters

  • Open the Cluster Tool and choose the appropriate category (e.g., "Cars").

2️⃣ Verify Clusters

  • Ensure that all detected clusters within the category match the intended classification.

3️⃣ Select a Classification Class

  • In the “Classify as” drop-down list, choose the target class (e.g., Class 14 – Cars).

4️⃣ Apply Classification

  • Click “Classify” to assign all selected clusters to the chosen class.

2. Classifying a Single Cluster

  • Right-click on a specific cluster in the list.

  • Choose “Classify as” to assign it to the class displayed in the header.
