Menu: View / Toolbar or Status bar or Explorer


Different tools can be shown or hidden with VisionLidar. The user interface may be customized by checking/unchecking these options.

  • Toolbar: Displays or hides the toolbar which contains all the icons in the main window.

  • Option: Shows the list of all the options to display the point cloud

  • Status bar: Displays or hides the status bar at the bottom of the main window.

  • Explorer: Displays or hides the explorer. The explorer manages the display of classes, scans and objects in the project.

    • The “Class” tab controls the classes. They can be shown or hidden, renamed and their color can be changed for the current project.

    • The “Scan” tab controls the different source files. They can be shown or hidden, their display color can be changed and they can be translated and rotated individually.

    • The “Objects” tab controls several types of objects: cylinders, planes, surfaces, trees and inserted objects. They can be hidden or shown, renamed, exported or even have their color changed.  Most of the objects can be exported as a .DXF ou .CSV file format directly from this tab.
