The Surface Cursor tool allows users to select points with higher precision using various picking methods.
Available Selection Options
Pick a Point – Select a specific point in the point cloud.
Pick an Object – Select an entire object within the point cloud.
Pick an Approximation Point by Surface – Select a point by fitting it to a surface.
Pick an Approximation Point by Intersection of Two Surfaces – Determines an approximate point where two surfaces intersect.
Pick an Approximation Point by Intersection of Three Surfaces – Determines an approximate point where three surfaces intersect.
Pick an Approximation Point by Sphere – Selects a point based on a spherical approximation.
Radius Parameter (R)
R defines the radius of the approximation surface or sphere, affecting the precision of the selection.
