Station management

To change the active section in the secondary view, the “Previous” or “Next” options can be clicked or the “Edit” button of a specific station can be selected. “Ctrl + 1” or “Ctrl+2” will also work if the user would like to switch between previous and next stations. If the “Apply template” option is checked, the previously used template will automatically be copied to the current station. This functionality is only available when the station is empty (does not contain any points). Thus, going forward along the alignment, the template is applied semi-automatically to the surface when the following stations are empty. By selecting the “Edit points” option and by clicking on points with the CTRL button pressed, the template can be moved within the secondary window to better fit the new section if needed.

Also, if a template is loaded in the right grid and the “Create all sections” option is triggered, all the sections will be created using that template. This will quickly add templates to all the stations, but each station will need to be verified to assure that the points from the template adequately represent the surface to be vectorized.
