Span Detection

Menu: Analyze / Catenary detection

The Spans tab is used to detect the sections of power lines between two poles. This is essential for Clash Detection in the Line Clearance tab.

• Manual Creation : Select two distinct poles to define a span.

• Automatic Detection : If poles and lines are already detected, use the span detection tool to automatically create spans.

• Span Analysis: Once spans are defined, you can use them to detect and analyze power lines within those spans.

• Adjust detection parameters via the Settings menu to better match your dataset.
