1. Understanding Profile Preferences
✔ Save and Load Multiple Configurations – Users can save different profile styles for various projects.
✔ Fixed vs. Break-Based Grids – Profiles can be displayed as single continuous grids or split across multiple sections.
✔ Customizable Grid and Annotation Settings – Adjust grid width, height, and overlap distance for clarity in long profiles.
✔ Flexible Elevation and Chaining Scaling – Control Y-axis (elevation) and X-axis (chaining) scaling independently.
2. Key Profile Settings and Options
Profile Parameters
Option | Description |

Line to Draw Profile | Defines the line type used for drawing the profile. |
Text to Draw Profile | Specifies the text style used for slope and elevation annotations. |
Elev. Scale | Controls the Y-axis scale, adjusting vertical exaggeration. |
Chaining Scale | Controls the X-axis scale, defining horizontal spacing. |
Dist. Between Grids | Defines spacing between profile grids in multi-grid (breaks) mode. |
Dist. for Breaks | Specifies the separation between profile breaks within a grid. |
Ext. Start / Ext. End | Sets horizontal margins before and after the profile. |
Overlap Start / Overlap End | Defines the overlap between grids in break-based profiles. |
